Pinewood Derby

Our Annual Pinewood Derby is an event you don't want to miss! Official Pinewood Derby cars are provided to all of our scouts by the Pack, and parents and siblings can buy Pinewood Derby cars to race as well! We run 2 sets of races- one for scouts only, and a second race for parents and siblings. Trophies/medals are given to the 5 fastest cars in the scout race and medals are given to the fastest 3 cars in the parents/siblings race. Everyone attending also gets to vote on the "Coolest Car," "Most Realistic Car," "Most Imaginative Car," "Most Interesting Car," and "Favorite Car."

Please read the Pinewood Derby Rules before making your car and also before attending the Derby so that you know what to expect and your car is ready to race! 

Cub Scouts Twilight Camp

The Battlefield District Twilight Camp is held each July at Christ Church Picnic Grounds in Littlestown.  The theme varies each year.  Scouts will participate in activities like BB gun and Archery, play sports and games, make crafts and slides, and work on their nature and outdoor skills.  

Rootbeer Float Stand at Littlestown Carnival

Our Pack partners with Troop 501 to sell Root Beer Floats during the Littlestown Carnival as a fundraiser.  We ask scouts to sign up for shifts to make and sell the root beer floats during the week. 

Scout Night at York Revolution

Scouts will be able participate in a pre-game parade, see a baseball game, camp overnight in the outfield following the game and enjoy a movie on the scoreboard, capped off with a hot breakfast in the morning.

Good Ole Days Parade

Our Cub Scout Pack marches in the Littlestown Good Ole Days Parade  alongside Boy Scout Troop 501.
